Dance = Happiness

Dancing is the movement of the body in a rhythmic way, usually in music. The purpose of it is to express an emotion or idea. It can also give many benefits for our health in mental and physical matter. It increases aerobic fitness, it reduces anxiety, stress and depression, it prevents the risk of having osteoporosis and many more. It is also considered as one of the recreational activities.

And dancing really is my passion ever since I was a child. I really have this passion in dancing, I had performed on our social gatherings and reunions with my cousins and friends. And it helps me overcome my fear in performing infront of many people because, when I dance I gain self confidence from it. My self-esteem increases when I hear cheers from my classmates and friends. And I consider it as my key of being confident of myself. It is like a treatment for me. I also dreamt of being a kpop star when I was a child because I find their dance steps cute and at the same time amazing. And recently, I performed in Mr. And Ms. ABM 2019 with my friends at the AVR of our school. And I still keep practicing for more improvements.

Cheerdancing- is a type of dance where it is consist of group of people that are physically fit and able to execute stunts, tumblings and lifts. This is our picture way back when we were grade 8, we joined a dance competition in our school and we won 2nd place in this competition.

It gives me genuine happiness when I see smiles plaster on people’s faces when I perform, I discovered that in this cruel world dancing can help not just physically but also ingiving people entertaiment and joy.

We can relate dancing to our lives, in dancing when we fell off you should stand and continue because they say “The Show Must Go On“, just like in our problems or obstacles in life, you just have to sway it off and continue your life.
